I just went to an anime convention yesterday. It was the most fun I had in a long time. I was notified that I was going with my sister the day before the convention. I stayed up till 2 thinking of a proper costume to wear. I ransacked my whole wardrobe and looked through my 116 volumes of manga trying to find out what to wear. After hours of throwing clothes and stomping around, my best friend suggested someone from Deathnote. That was easy. I could go as L or Light. I decided on L because that was the most easiest costume to put together. Just a sweater and jeans.... and lots of eyeliner. The convention itself was amazing. I spent half the time fangirling over other people's costumes (not very L like?) There was this one stand selling music. It had a screen playing the "Carmell Dansen" with pictures of Pikachu dancing to it. Through impulse, I danced with the pikachu's because that dance is a hella fun. While I was dancing, I noticed a crowd has formed and were actually cheering me on. It was amazing untill my sister came along and dragged me away. The shop keeper almost pulled me back because I attracted customers. There were lots more to see there as well. I saw a guy dressed up as Light there. He glared at me like I was actually L. I couldn't help but burst out laughing everytime he passed by and gave me a glare. All in all, it was alot of fun and really amazing. The people, the costumes, that shops, everything. I really hope to go again next year. CARMEN, NEXT YEAR, I'M BRINGING YOU WITH ME. I SWEAR. xD
